  • Should I book for a stay at your campsite?
    It is strongly recommended to book for a stay at the campsite, especially in high season or for long weekends. Reservations are only taken online on the reservation page. No reservations will be taken by telephone or email.
  • Can I reserve a pitch or accommodation by phone or email?
    Les réservations se font uniquement en ligne sur notre site Internet via le formulaire de "réservation". Aucune réservation n'est prise par téléphone ou par e-mail. Le règlement d'un acompte ou de la totalité du séjour vous sera demandé.
  • Can I have my holiday refunded if I cancel due to bad weather?
    No refunds for stays canceled due to weather conditions will be made. Even if you have subscribed to the cancellation guarantee.
  • Can I get a refund for my stay in the event of cancellation?
    You can claim a refund if and only if you have subscribed to the cancellation guarantee and the causes fall within the general conditions of the insurance . The campsite therefore does not make any direct reimbursements. If the cancellation is announced to us 21 days before the planned arrival by e-mail, you can request a refund of your stay (excluding administration fees of €5.00). In the event of bad weather no refund will be made.
  • What does the “Campez Couvert” cancellation guarantee cover?
    The “Campez Couvert” cancellation guarantee is offered to you by an insurance company independent of the campsite: “Gritchen Affinity”. It covers: Cancellation of stay: Reimbursement of the vacationer for sums paid and retained by the campsite (excluding weather conditions). Late arrival : Reimbursement of the vacationer for sums paid and not consumed, following a late arrival Interruption of stay: Reimbursement of the vacationer for sums paid and not consumed, in the event of an obligation to leave prematurely. Replacement vehicle : Following a breakdown, material accident or theft during your stay, we will cover the rental of a replacement vehicle.   • When does the campsite open and close this year?
    The campsite opens on April 27, 2024 and closes on September 22, 2024. Reception and telephone opening hours: Every day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Mandatory arrival from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Departure from the pitch before 12:00 p.m. - Departure from the rental before 10:00 a.m. Access to the campsite prohibited after 10:00 p.m.
  • Can we buy bread on the campsite?
    We have a grocery store on the campsite with basic necessities (dry groceries, drinks, etc.) and some local products. You can order bread and pastries the day before for the next day (payment taken when ordering). You will also find a restaurant on the campsite.
  • Are there toilets and showers ?
    The campsite has two toilet blocks with showers, toilets, sinks, washbasins and hot water.
  • Is there a launderette?
    We offer a laundry service with a washing machine and dryer. Tokens can be purchased at reception.
  • Is there WIFI or WLAN?
    The campsite does not have a shared WIFI / WLAN network.
  • What time should we arrive or leave the campsite?
    Arrivals at the campsite are from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., after this time additional fees (late arrival) will be charged. ​ Pitches must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. If this time is exceeded, an additional night will be due. ​ Rental accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. ​ Each arrival and guest must be announced at reception. All vehicles must be registered at reception.
  • Are the pitches shaded?
    We cannot guarantee shaded places since placement is free, however the campsite has many trees...
  • What is the power of the electrical terminals and do you need a specific adapter?
    The terminals provide 10A, you must equip yourself with a CEE / P17 type adapter (male).
  • Can I charge my electronic device batteries (phones, bicycles, computers, etc.)?
    We offer to charge your batteries at reception: €0.50 per charge for small devices (phone, tablet, computers) €1.00 per charge for large batteries (bicycles, etc.). Charging in the toilets is strongly discouraged (risk of theft, electrocution, etc.).
  • Can I reserve a place in the shade and flat on the campsite ?
    The site has been kept natural, pitches may not be flat and are not marked (no hedges, no artificial boundaries, etc.). This is why we do not guarantee a shady or flat spot on the Unmarked Nature pitches. ​ All these pitches have wonderful views of Lake Narlay. You can choose your little piece of paradise to set up camp, in accordance with pitch availability on your arrival.  See site map. ​ Please note: - Arrival between 14h and 19h - Departure before 12:00 pm - You can park your vehicle on your pitch or in nearby parking spaces. - For better comfort, bring a waterproof and shock-absorbing floor mat or tarpaulin to slide under your tent. - Shaded pitches cannot be booked in advance or guaranteed. - On part of the site, it is possible to request an electricity connection on arrival.
  • Does the campsite have emptying services?
    The campsite offers the gray water emptying service (sinks, showers), but is not equipped for toilet emptying (chemical or not). You also have the option of filling your tank with clean water.
  • Can we have a barbecue?
    If you bring your own barbecue (metal and on legs more than 30cm high), it is acceptable to cook food over embers. However, the fire must be stopped after cooking the food and the ground must not be damaged and left clean. You will need to have a water reserve near the barbecue to prevent any risk of fire starting and extinguish the fireplace. There is no shared barbecue available on the campsite. Gas stoves are permitted.
  • Can we have a campfire on the campsite?
    Campfires are strictly prohibited on the campsite and in the surrounding nature.
  • Can I invite visitors who are not campsite customers?
    Visitors must be announced at the campsite reception and must leave the site before 8:00 p.m. After 8:00 p.m. they will have to pay for one night if they are still present. Vehicles not registered at reception are not admitted. It is strictly forbidden to allow vehicles or people to enter without first informing reception.
  • Can we swim or sail in Lake Narlay?
    Swimming is done at your own risk. Swimming is not supervised. Boating (paddle, canoe, boat, etc.) is prohibited. The lake is classified as a sensitive and protected area (Natura 2000). It is not recommended to swim there in order to preserve biodiversity and drinking water resources.
  • Can we fish in the lake?
    Fishing is regulated and managed by an independent association. Fishing licenses are on sale at reception (daily, weekly or yearly). Fishing with a boat is prohibited (canoe, float tube, boat, etc.). Only fishing from shore is permitted.
